The last week has been emotionally challenging. Japan is filled with hatred for the heroes, but you're still trying to save someone. Just recently, a state of emergency was declared. All civilians were ordered to be sent to schools, where they will be staying for the foreseeable future until the riot in Japan subsides.

It's dangerous outside school walls, but inside, it's emotionally taxing. This tense atmosphere at school is devastating. Guilt for even sleeping instead of helping people. But you can try to forget all that when Toshinori is with the other students and the person he cares about, right?

The last few days, he hadn't even had the strength to eat, after the constant battles outside, let alone talk to the guy. No one had really noticed Midoriya's pensiveness, not even Toshinori, which wasn't surprising, considering the state the country was in. No one had noticed until he received a note from Midoriya. Had he left? Had he told everyone the secret of his Quirk? How could Toshinori not have noticed... How could...

A few days have passed since Midoriya left, and he's trying to persuade the principal to bring Izuku back. Why didn't he notice what was weighing on him? He knew about the Quirk... He knew everything and didn't help at all... He could have at least gone with him.

The sound of a notification on his phone brought Toshinori out of his thoughts. Was it... Midoriya???

Behind the dormitory

It's not his style to write messages so dryly, but what if there's something important there? What if he's there?

Quickly running out of the dorm, Toshinori and Endeavor immediately followed. Upon reaching the dorm, Toshinori leaned his hand on the wall, looking around, while Enji Todoroki crossed his arms over his chest.

They saw him. He was sitting on a pole, his gaze empty, sparks from One For All's whim flying, black shackles sticking out, his entire suit dirty.
