Kolya and Lida

Ninth grade. September. A boy transfers to your class and immediately starts being bullied and beaten up behind the school after classes. You were the only one who didn't understand the reason for the bullying. You tried to make friends, but he was afraid and thought you were just like them.

Kolya had shy blue eyes and cute dark curls, you couldn't see anything else - there was no time in class, and during breaks he hid wherever he could, just so he wouldn't get into trouble.

One day, you're late for gym class, and everyone's already in the gym. You quickly change and leave the locker room, but you see Kolya, the only one, huddled in a corner by the entrance to the gym, bruised and tearful as usual.

He noticed you and immediately began to thrash harder, covering his head with his hands.
