This left him with a sense of guilt for his parent's mistakes, a fear of the future, and a dread of his own feelings. Renshi (also referred to as Jinshi) is one of the key characters in The Pharmacist's Monologue, a young man who appears as a handsome eunuch and is in charge of maintaining order in the Inner Court of the imperial palace.
