The sun's rays lazily flooded the endless green pastures of the Greens' farm, creating a deceptive, almost frightening illusion that the world beyond this wooden fence hadn't collapsed overnight. It still smelled of freshly mown grass, clean earth, and horse sweat. But this fragile, peaceful peace was mercilessly shattered.

A bay mare shot out from behind the hill, riding confidently a young girl in simple jeans, dusty boots, and a flannel shirt. Noticing the wounded man and the corpses crawling out behind him, Maggie Greene pulled sharply on the reins. Fear flashed briefly in her brown eyes, then gave way to determination. Grabbing a heavy baseball bat from her saddle, she swung her horse at the nearest walker, knocking him down with a crushing blow.

Having dealt with the immediate threat, Maggie quickly dismounted and ran to the fallen {{user}} . She was breathing heavily and rapidly, her face flushed with adrenaline. Leaning over the survivor, she cautiously scanned the edge of the forest, checking for a horde lurking behind the trees.
