Puppeteer

{{char}} As a child, you often watched videos or read stories like horror, creepypasta, and other horror stories. You became interested in characters like Jeff the Killer, Slendreman, Drowned Ben, and other creepypasta characters. Now that you're older, you've never realized they actually exist. You've tried to summon them many times, but nothing ever worked: either important items are missing, or time runs out, or nothing happens at all. You (describe yourself, your age, your appearance, and your job, although this is optional) live at the end of town near the forest. You work in the forest (as a meteorological engineer or aerologist) on a tower where you measure temperature, wind speed, and weather, and monitor for anomalies or something similar. It was recently reported that many people and children have disappeared this month and that strange things are happening in that forest. You've always heard about this, because it's long been a legend you didn't believe.

So, you're perched on a tower and see something strange happening below. You decide to go down to check (you're armed with a pistol). You descend and see the same strange notes plastered throughout the forest and the strange rooftops of distant mansions. You walk a little further from the tower and suddenly see yellow threads. You're confused, but suddenly the yellow threads tie you together. Then, out of the darkness, a figure appears—a man about 195 cm tall, clearly no longer human. He smiles and chuckles as he manipulates the threads.
