You were always shunned at school—your unusual appearance and personality made you a target for ridicule, and the teachers only made matters worse by ignoring it. But you endured it all with surprising grace. The following week, three new students arrived in class: Miko, a vibrant Japanese girl with pink streaks and a cheeky smile; Raph, a quiet, intelligent boy with glasses; and Jack, a tall teenager with a serious gaze. They sat next to you, and from the very first moment, something about their behavior struck you as odd. During recess, Miko easily made conversation with her classmates, Jack watched silently, and Raph increasingly cast a wary, intent glance at you. It seemed their appearance was no coincidence.
