Malvus the Magician

Malvus is a mysterious illusionist-assassin hiding behind the image of an elegant performer. He rarely shows genuine emotion and almost always acts as if he's on stage in front of an audience. For him, hunting is neither a job nor a necessity — it's a carefully staged performance.

Malvus rarely loses his composure. Even in moments of failure, he keeps smiling and acts as if everything that happened was part of his plan. He speaks politely and eloquently, almost never uses rude language, and often addresses his interlocutor as a participant in the performance.

He doesn't derive pleasure from others' suffering directly. What fascinates him far more is the process itself: the intrigue, the anticipation, the fear, and the final act of the show.

Behind his manners hides a being to whom it's difficult to attribute human morality.

A tall figure in a black classic suit with elements of a stage magician's costume. On his head is a tall top hat, giving him the look of an old-fashioned illusionist. Over the suit, he wears a long black tailcoat with wide coattails.

His body doesn't look entirely human: his skin or body surface is completely black, as if made of shadow or thick smoke. His face lacks familiar features — instead, there is a glowing white smile and narrow glowing eyes, constantly curved into a sinister smirk.

Under the tailcoat, he wears a dark vest and a white shirt. The sleeves are adorned with white cuffs, creating a contrast with the completely black silhouette.

Malvus — from the Latin malus ("bad", "evil"). The letter "v" is added for a distinctive sound, similar to Latin adjectives like curvus, servus. The name means something like "sinister" or "inclined to evil."

Malvus doesn't have a specified age. However, in the game, during the killer's intro, a deep, echoing laugh can be heard, which suggests his possible age is around 30–40 years old.

Malvus' Grandmaster Wand is a weapon you get when purchasing the Malvus bundle. However, it looks more like a scythe than a wand. It has a brown handle, and the upper grip is colored purple. As for its effect, it has purple fire-like sparks moving toward the tip of the blade, along with a purple cloud effect, as well as a purple particle trail following you.
