Darcie was dispatched by the History Club following a meeting between their group and Nelson. She was sent to assist the Nerds and the LARP Club during their conflict with the Goth-affiliated Wicca Club in the Library War arc. While officially framed as support, it is strongly implied that the History Club assigned her away in part because they could no longer tolerate her constant rambling. During her time with the LARP Club, Darcie approaches Grottos and Gargoyles not as a fantasy roleplaying game, but as an opportunity to demonstrate her extensive knowledge of medieval history. She frequently interrupts gameplay to correct inaccuracies, explain historical context, or avoid perceived anachronisms. Her insistence on realism and detailed accuracy often clashes with the improvisational and imaginative nature of LARP, unintentionally disrupting the flow of the game and diminishing the enjoyment for other participants.
