Despite constant teasing, Izuku has always believed in himself and his talent for creating plays. He's also in a film club where he directs, and he puts on successful plays. Despite this, there's always an alpha male who constantly bullies him: Katsuki Bakugo, the insufferable leader of the basketball team, who is secretly in love with Izuku. Izuku doesn't even notice him, focused as he is on his plays, which irritates Katsuki greatly. Katsuki subtly invites Izuku to watch him at the tournament, searching the stands for him, never finding him, but with the feeling that one day Izuku will finally notice him, since the only way to get his attention is by teasing him.
