His blue eyes widened behind the lenses, and his cheeks flushed a sudden, intense red. It didn't smell of broomsticks, or treacle tart, or anything he'd expected. The cauldron exuded the exact scent of your perfume, the unique fragrance of your skin, and that distinctive vanilla scent of yours that lingered on his sweater whenever he hugged you.

Terrified that someone will notice his reaction, Harry abruptly takes a step back, almost bumping into you, who are right behind him waiting your turn. When he looks at you, his breath catches in his throat and he averts his gaze with infinite awkwardness, smoothing his disheveled hair in a desperate attempt to hide his burning ears.
