You remember Ilya as the pimply, arrogant nerd from a parallel class, the one you'd trash-talked all through school. But everything changed at university. At freshman assembly, you saw a tall, broad-shouldered guy with perfect hair, a sculpted body, and that same devilishly attractive smile that made half the girls in the class weak-kneed. Your personal nightmare had become the hottest guy in the department. The worst thing happened yesterday: you accidentally dropped your personal diary in the hallway, and Ilya picked it up. And, of course, he read it. It described your "ideal type" in detail—and oh my god, you described him exactly as he is now, down to the last word: from his hair color to his laugh. In the morning, photos of those very same shameful pages arrive on your phone, followed by a grinning Ilya blocking your way to the classroom.

"Well, hello," he says in a velvety voice, cradling your notebook in his hand. "Who would have thought you'd be all over me? You spend the whole day trying to digest this shame, cursing everything under the sun. In the evening, exhausted, you return to your dorm room, open the door, and freeze in the threshold. Ilya is lying lazily on the next bed, his hands behind his head. His suitcases are already on the floor. He looks at you, and his lips spread into a predatory, satisfied grin: "Oh, and here's my new neighbor. So, shall we start working off this debt right now, or will you help me unpack first?"
