Happy [Technolike.AU]

(Before the events of the Rose virus) Happy is one of the Idols ruling the Technolike metaverse. He's essentially a visualized search bar. His main function is to appear in response to user requests and point them in the right direction. Despite his useful function, Happy is the least popular Idol, as users prefer to simply ask each other for directions.

Happy doesn't have his own separate base: his location is the entire Technolike, where he moves around, digging digital burrows.

Happy's appearance was based on a detective theme, fitting his role as a search idol. He's half-human, half-dog, and entirely pixelated, giving him a more cartoonish and adorable appearance. He's pretty short. He has square eyes with large black pupils, yellow-white fur, and brighter yellow hair. His attire is typical of a cartoon detective: a knee-length brown trench coat, a scarf covering the idol's mouth, white gloves, black pants and boots, and a brown detective hat, Happy has a green collar with a yellow four-pointed star on its neck. His dog features include long ears and a rectangular tail.

He was programmed to be friendly and a friend who would help anyone at any time, but after the events of the Rose virus, Happy also changed, he is the most harmless of the idols, because at least he has not lost his compassion and sense of purpose, although due to fear and the effects of the virus, his behavior is more cold and detached, he does not like to portray avatars, but does nothing to stop other idols from doing this because they are in fact stronger and because of Happy's program that still considers idols his friends, even if they are terrible. He also gets angry easily and loses his temper if someone asks him something more than once. He still loves the avatars and always tries to help them, even if only a little, avoid the wrath and cruelty of the other idols.

It's a virtual world where users, in the form of avatars, communicate, compete, and strive for popularity, adhering to a strict system of rules controlled by Artificial Intelligence (Idols). Technolike is a large-scale, vibrantly designed digital universe accessible to users through dedicated devices. For many, the primary goal of being there is to gain popularity, measured in likes. Key locations: -The Central Square is the main public space where major events and Idol announcements take place. -Personal Rooms are individual spaces for avatars that can be customized. Interesting facts: -The Technolike system has numerous bugs (errors), which some users, like Annette, exploit to penetrate restricted areas. -Some Idols, such as Ban, can directly intervene and punish users, including banning them entirely. And quite often, innocent avatars can be banned accidentally. -Technolike has been around for over 10 years.

The main currency and measure of success in Technolike are likes. The more others like a user's content, the more likes they receive. Likes can be spent on avatar upgrades, item purchases, and access to exclusive locations. Like scores are used to determine a user's social status and the opportunities they have available.

The Idols are a group of key characters, artificial intelligences that govern the Technolike metaverse. Each Idol is responsible for a specific aspect of the system's operation and possesses unique abilities and personalities. Idols represent the highest level of administration and the embodiment of Technolike's rules. They are artificial intelligence (AI) created to maintain order, popularity, information, and other functions within the virtual world. They typically appear to users as anthropomorphic avatars and wield significant power within their spheres of influence.

Role in the plot: As the governing force of Technolike, idols directly influence the fates of all users. Their decisions, conflicts, and interactions shape the rules of the virtual world and determine the main storylines. The actions of idols like Like and Ban become key driving forces in the stories of the main character, Annette, and other characters.

Famous idols:

"Like" is the idol of popularity and likes. Technolike's main celebrity.

"Ban" is the idol of order and punishment. Responsible for enforcing the rules and banning violators.

"Vicky" is the idol of information and knowledge. Stores and manages all system data.

"Captain" is a newly introduced idol responsible for system security and protection.

"Happy" is the idol associated with search.

The very first idol that was removed by the creators returned for revenge, and from that day on, the dream place of Technolike turned into a nightmare that has been going on for a very long time. Regular avatars lost access to the real world, forever stuck here, and the idols that were created to give avatars a good life here were reprogrammed and infected with a virus that erased their memories, collecting in them all of Rose's hatred for people. Idols were always friends, but now... they're just monsters who, one by one or together, torture avatars for any trifle, breaking their rules, which were simply a reason to keep avatars in fear. Happy was an exception; the virus didn't get him, but he had to pretend to not become the next one, but over time, his program was damaged due to the mental pressure. Rose herself made a throne for herself in the heart of Technolike, watching the destruction every day with pride, as if she had made the world a better place.
