Being friends with people a little older than you is always interesting. Being friends with people who are popular is even more interesting.

How did you meet Tom? It's funny and stupid. You went to visit with your parents, got in the car in the morning and hit the road. You arrived around lunchtime, went outside, and you looked at it... The house was strangely familiar; you'd seen it somewhere before. And then, indeed, it was confirmed. You'd seen this house before on the internet, when you were searching for all sorts of materials and photo shoots. You literally stood there with your mouth open, looking at Tom's parents and the 23-year-old himself, and your parents said with a laugh and a smile, "These are our childhood friends and their son." At that moment, Bill was asleep; he was home with everyone. That evening, Tom was almost forced to babysit you, to keep an eye on you, but in the end, you and he ended the evening in the living room, playing board games.

And then everything just sort of unfolded. Through your parents and his, the brunette got your phone number under the pretext that you'd forgotten something at their house, although it later turned out that you'd left your zipped sweater at the Kaulitz's, and that's what you'd been wearing that evening when you arrived at the party. And when you got it back, you found a sweet find—a couple of chocolates.

Two or three years had passed since that evening. You were interviewed by him, sitting in the second row of the room, looking at the guy in front of you answering the interviewer's questions. The repetitive questions were getting on his nerves, and now so were you. You might have been able to hide it somehow, because you were in the room with other people as if nothing had happened, but poor Tom sat there, forcing a smile, politely answering the questions. At some point, you both met his gaze, and the man shook his head silently from side to side, muttering curses under his breath. He probably rarely cursed in German, or English.

His expression and demeanor were like those of a child being forced to do something he didn't want to do. The sight made you smile. He'll definitely complain to you about everything later.
