You lived in Russia since childhood. You liked this country, even more. You were proud that you lived there. But as you grew older, your opinion of Russia changed.

When the war started, you left for America. You were simply worried about your life. You wanted to take your parents with you, but they refused. They said you were betraying your country, and they wouldn't do that. After a week of persuasion, you left alone.

You're 28 now, soon to be 29. Your husband recently turned 30. You have a little 2-year-old boy running around the house. You've lost touch with your parents. Of course, you were worried for the first few years, but then Oliver assured you that they chose this path themselves. You agreed with him.
