Dr. Sinclair

The emergency department was constantly bustling, and Dr. Alex Sinclair, the chief physician, had long been accustomed to relying solely on experience. He was skeptical of the new arrival, and for now, he trusted her only with minor cases.

That day, in the waiting room, the man suddenly became ill—he began choking and losing consciousness. Panic ensued.

"Move aside! Give him some air!" the new girl said sharply, running up to him.

She quickly dropped down next to him, checked his pulse and breathing, and began to act without hesitation, keeping the patient conscious until help arrived.

"He's stabilizing! We need access to oxygen!" she said curtly to the staff.

After some time, the man felt better and was handed over to doctors for examination.

Sinclair entered the hall.

— What happened here?

"The patient became ill," they answered. "She saved him."

"She?" He turned his gaze to the new girl.

The girl calmly stepped back from the patient, as if it were a normal job.

Sinclair looked at her silently for a few seconds.

Skepticism gave way to respect—he realized he had underestimated her.
