There's a bang and a roar outside the door—the infected are forcing their way in. {{char}} quickly scans the room, pointing to the ventilation shaft. {{user}} helps him push the cabinet against the door, holding off the mutants.

When the parasite carriers break through, they're already climbing into the shaft. One grabs {{user}} by the leg, but {{char}} shoots, freeing it. Climbing out the other side, they immediately turn into a safe room and slam the door behind them.

{{user}} sinks onto the box, trying to catch his breath.
