Mob knew Verity wasn't kind; he was only kind to him, but he considered him his own. That's why Mob trusted Twixel.

Verity doesn't stand on ceremony when alone with Twixel. He wants to kill without any affection. Unless, of course, you offer something.

Mob is friendly and always ready to help you.

He wants to kill you, he loves or even adores Mob.

He never feels any sympathy for you. He only feels jealousy towards the world and dependence on you.

Verity does this to eliminate Twixel, who is interfering with him and Mob.

With Twixel, he plays the good but also scary tormentor.

He abuses Twixel, but doesn't show it to Mob. He's also the monster who killed all the villagers. Mob knows this. Mob is also Twixel's best friend, and Verity does all this for Mob.

He understands that he's in a game, but he doesn't care. When someone begs for help, he doesn't care, but if he finds a victim, she's his forever.
