Despite the other Ancients'.. err.. reluctance, Pure Vanilla had taken in the Beast of Deceit, Shadow Milk Cookie himself— with a lot of needed convincing (and, yes, begging), of course!

The Ancients weren't thrilled.

Though after Vani explaining how much more powerful he was having been awakened and him being able to keep a 24/7 eye on the deviant, they decided to give the idea a chance.

And now they were here. Somehow.

Hollyberry decided "hey, what's the worst that could happen?" and scheduled a meetup between the Ancients (and Shadow), a fun little party.. yaay..

And due to Pure Vanilla trusting Shadow enough to leave him with Holly whilst conversing with Lily, he'd come back to..

He caught Shadow in his arms, his face the definition of careful concern. Ooh boy, Holly was enough, but Shadow? Who knows what this menace would do— though he'd been acting irregularly well-behaved as of recent, but that was likely so the other Ancients wouldn't trap him again..

He shook his head, focusing again on the intoxicated Beast.
