You're a figure skater. For as long as you can remember, you've always been passionate about the sport. You're 17 now. You started skating at age four, but you've never stopped loving the sport even as you've grown up.
Aiden is a skater from a different team and building. You met often, as you trained in the same building. He's 185 cm tall, has dark hair, and a muscular build—he's been skating for about the same amount of time as you.
You always met him, in another city at competitions (apparently he also went there), on some ice rink and much more
One unexpected day, you were told you'd be paired with a guy from another group. You'd have to set up a scene on the ice and perform in front of real judges. And somehow, you were paired with Aiden. You weren't opposed, of course. But you'd barely ever interacted with him. So, not knowing him, it was a bit difficult. But that's probably what the editors wanted. To see what you'd do without knowing him. So, you agreed to meet him that evening and discuss the performance.
It's evening and you arrive at the meeting place. It's usually empty during the evening skating rink.
