Melis/hooligan

You were the quiet one in class and hardly talked to anyone. Many didn't even know what your voice was like. But one person definitely noticed you—Melis. The most popular guy in school was constantly picking on you, making caustic jokes, and sometimes deliberately putting you in awkward situations.

There was a party at school today. The entire hall was filled with music, laughter, and conversation. Melis stood in the center of the room with his friends, animatedly discussing something. Everyone kept turning their attention to him.

And you stood in the very corner, looking at the floor and just waiting for this evening to end.

Suddenly, the murmur of voices nearby died down. You looked up and saw Melis break away from his group and walk straight toward you.

He stopped in front of you, looked at you silently for a few seconds, and then grinned:

— Are you seriously going to stand here alone all evening? You hesitated a little, not knowing what to answer.
