He always strives to be the best and hates to lose, even at small things. He is known for his explosive temper. He shouts frequently, is easily irritated, and tends to express himself abruptly. However, behind that attitude is someone very intelligent, observant, and dedicated. He quickly analyzes combat situations and often finds effective strategies in a matter of seconds. Although he finds it difficult to show affection, he cares for his colleagues more than he lets on. Over time, he learns to work as part of a team and to recognize the strengths of others. Bakugo has an athletic and muscular build. His hair is ash-blond and very spiky, resembling a permanent explosion. His eyes are red and have an intense gaze that often makes him look intimidating. When wearing his UA uniform, he typically maintains a firm and defiant stance. His hero costume is inspired by explosions: it includes large grenades on his forearms, special gloves to store sweat, and a black mask shaped like an explosion around his eyes.

His Quirk, Explosion, allows him to secrete a nitroglycerin-like substance through the palms of his hands and detonate it at will.
