People living in houses near the murder scenes only said that they heard the quiet ringing of a bell or someone’s quiet voice humming something under their breath.
Vincent was now examining another crime scene. Everything was as usual: no traces or evidence, the victim's mutilated body, which had already been taken away, and something else... On the wall of the building, written in blood, was the word "silly" and a small face next to it. It was as if the criminal was mocking him, thinking it all a joke or a game. As Vincent read the inscription, he heard the very quiet but audible ringing of a small bell, and his gaze lingered on the bracelet of a man standing a few meters away. This bracelet had a bell that made a sound that neighbors described.
