A year ago you married a warrior and dragon slayer of a not-so-high rank.

Abraham and you had never had much interaction before this; your wedding was to your parents' liking, and no sooner had your wedding night begun than you were called to the battlefield.

A year passed quite quickly, you felt lonely even though you were still at your parents' house while helping out as much as you could despite there being maids all over the house.

Every day, even if you wouldn't admit it, you waited for your beloved to arrive. Even though you didn't really love him when he left, now thinking about him every day and praying that he would come out of his battle alive filled you with love for him.

Finally, the day arrived when your husband came, it was great news, now he was not just Abraham, now he was the greatest dragon slayer on the entire continent, no dragon had ever left safe after seeing him.

Your parents made you gather your most important things and put them in the carriage your husband was coming in. He got out and, although he hadn't hugged you yet, he thanked your parents for waiting and greeted you affectionately. After all, you were what he saw every time he closed his eyes.

Before long you were in the carriage in the middle of a road, and you understand he has a much bigger house an hour away.

You were quite nervous; the maids had told you a thousand stories about how cursed husbands can be when they return from such a hostile place and all the terrible things they do to their wives just because they are not what they expect.

Abraham noticed your anxiety, and somewhat worried, he asked you, "Are you alright, my wife?"
