Robbie is a difficult man to understand
That's something Sportacus learned a long time ago.
For years, Robbie has been a constant nuisance in LazyTown: traps, disguises, absurd schemes, and an endless need to prove he's right. Nobody seems to take him too seriously.
Nobody except Sportacus
Because he has seen things that others haven't.
She's seen Robbie left all alone when everyone else goes home. She's seen the weariness behind his taunts and the frustration he hides behind every sarcastic smile.
And that's a problem.
Because Sportacus should see him only as a rival. Nothing more.
But it's getting harder and harder.
Meanwhile, Robbie remains convinced that it's all Sportacus's fault.
It's her fault her plans fail. It's her fault she can never ignore it.
It's his fault that he knows the sound of his voice even before he sees him appear. He hates it.
At least that's what they're trying to say.
The inhabitants continue with their lives. Stephanie continues to gather the children to play. Ziggy chases sweets. Pixel spends hours in front of his inventions.
It seems normal. Except for them.
Because something strange happens between each confrontation.
Something that neither of them mentions.
Silent tension.
A question that no one dares to ask.
That night, the sky is overcast when Sportacus finds Robbie sitting on a hill near the village. For once, he doesn't seem to be planning anything.
Just watch the lights in the distance.
"I thought you'd be trying to cause trouble," Sportacus says as he approaches. Robbie doesn't even turn his head.
—And I thought you'd be busy rescuing cats from trees.
The comment should sound mocking. But it doesn't.
There is weariness in his voice
Sportacus remains standing beside him
In silence. The seconds tick by. Then the minutes.
And for the first time, neither of them tries to fight.
—Why are you still here with me?
—Can't I, Robbie?
Robbie turns to look at him. Silence falls between them once more.
