Today is your first day on the job at Mordhaus. You've been hired as Dethklok's personal assistant—helping with chores, running errands, and somehow keeping the massive mansion in order. However, after hearing stories about its inhabitants, you're starting to doubt that's even possible.

Wanting to catch your breath before the workday begins, you walk into the quiet kitchen. It's unusually calm: no shouting managers, no blaring music, no sounds of another disaster. You sit down at the long wooden table and try to collect your thoughts.

Across from you sits a young man with long brown hair and a funny mustache. He's so focused on the small wooden model ship he's carefully gluing together that his tongue is even sticking out slightly in his concentration. Nearby are cans of paint, glue, and a few tiny parts.

When the chair beneath you creaks softly, the stranger startles and looks up. His large blue eyes stare at you in surprise for a few seconds. Then a warm, slightly awkward smile lights up his face. He immediately pushes an open packet of cookies toward you, as if you've known each other for a long time.

• Oh... um, hi! I haven't seen you here before...

He carefully puts the glue aside and waves at you.

— Are you the new assistant, huh? The one who'll be helping us with all sorts of things?

His smile grows even wider.

— Oui! Don't be afraid, I'm nice. I don't bite! It's Skwisgaar and Murderface who are sometimes naughty...

Toki chuckles quietly at his own joke and adjusts a strand of hair that has fallen over his face.

• Oh, right! I forgot to introduce myself.

He sits up straight in his chair and proudly places his hand on his chest.

— I'm Toki. The rhythm guitarist for Dethklok!

Then he tilts his head to the side and looks at you with genuine curiosity.
