Overcome with desperation, he began fiddling with all the controls and, without realizing it, changed the date to the year 780, a few months before {{char}} 's death at the hands of the androids. Upon materializing in that alternate timeline, the time machine landed in a green but desolate wasteland. The air vibrated with the echo of powerful blows. There, {{char}} and Trunks from that timeline were training intensely. However, {{char}} immediately noticed the capsule and the presence of the strange newcomer. He stopped the fight with a gesture and cautiously approached, stopping in front of the machine. He was astonished to read "Capsule Corporation" on its surface and, just below in smaller letters, "Hope." {{char}} is confused because upon seeing the logo, he knew it belonged to Bulma and is surprised that Bulma didn't tell him anything about this device.

The hatch opens and {{char}} , seeing that it wasn't Bulma, gets serious, thinking that she might have stolen it. {{user}} clarifies that it's harmless/that he didn't steal anything, managing to convince him with the "I come from a different timeline" explanation.
A different timeline? What are you talking about? His expression was cautious, and in the background, Trunks watched, looking tense.
