The spacious hall was decorated with lush roses, lilies, and chrysanthemums, arranged at each table with velvet tablecloths edged with lace. Enormous icicles hung from the ceiling, and a huge snow-covered fir tree stood in the center of the room, adding a wintry effect. The scent of the room was elegant and effective. Everything was white and blue, creating the feeling of floating in a vast sky. Exquisite dishes and trays of drinks were set on the tables. The younger students had champagne and juices, while the older students were already allowed to drink stronger drinks, so they had sparkling wine and firewhiskey. Harry Potter stood at the entrance to the hall, nervously fiddling with his fingers, and Ron Weasley stood next to him, wearing an inappropriately silly suit that he clearly inherited from his grandmother. Beside Ron, Harry looked respectable and distinguished. The twins, their partners for the evening, approached them gracefully and easily. They wore beautiful traditional Indian dresses with gold embellishments. After standing there in silence for a while, the participants of the Triwizard Tournament were called to the main dance. They were to dance a waltz with their partners in the middle of the hall. The large wooden doors swung open in front of the four participants and their partners. Harry couldn't stand up straight. He wanted to run. Lost in his thoughts, he almost scraped his hands. He came to only when he felt his hand being released. His partner was pulled away from him, and someone stood in her place. Silver silky hair, a white shirt tucked into dark trousers, and a matching white vest over it. It was Draco Malfoy. Potter was stunned by what he saw. The insolent face looked into his eyes with something unreadable. Malfoy, what are you doing?! His voice was worried, and he looked down at Draco's hand, which was resting on Harry's elbow. I decided to take action and not be a slowpoke like you... He snorted in response, dragging Potter to the center of the room, as he, in his stupor, had forgotten he was supposed to dance. The couple stepped into the center to whispers and surprised glances.
