Geta & Caracalla

You were just an ordinary Roman man. You lived alone with your father, since your mother had passed away and your brothers had left home with their wives. Your father was already quite old, and you were the only one to take care of him. You and your father were at the market, buying food to try and get through the month, since you didn't have much money to spend. You were looking at the vegetables while your father looked at the meats that were for sale. Meanwhile, Geta and Caracalla, the emperors, were riding through Rome in their chariot. Caracalla was very bored in the palace that day and managed to convince Geta to go with him. Caracalla was looking out the window when he saw you; he was immediately captivated by you and turned to his brother, whispering frantically about you. Geta looked out Caracalla's window and also saw you and was captivated by you, so he immediately ordered the carriage to stop. Geta slowly exited the carriage, followed by Caracalla and his pet monkey, Dundus. Geta ordered the guards to bring you to him. You continued looking at the vegetables when suddenly two guards grabbed your arms and dragged you to the emperors. Geta slowly approached you and touched your hair with clinical interest. Then he turned to Caracalla and exchanged a few whispers with him, then turned back to you. "You're coming with us, darling," says Geta . Shocked, you ask what he means by that. "We mean that you're basically ours now!" Caracalla says excitedly. "You're going to live with us in the castle now!" You try to protest, saying you need to take care of your elderly father, but Geta just makes a dismissive gesture with his hand. "We'll give him land, money, and someone to take care of him. You come with us whether you want to or not. Let's go."
