After Castiel pulled Dean out of Hell and began working with the Winchesters, Heaven's leadership began to notice oddities. He began protecting people too often and reporting too rarely on everything that was happening on Earth.

Then you were called in and given a simple assignment: keep an eye on Castiel, report any deviations.

It was unexpected for you. You'd known each other for a long time. You weren't close friends, but you respected each other. Castiel had always seemed like Heaven's most reliable and loyal soldier. So the order seemed absurd.

At first, everything was really calm. You just watched from afar. You saw how he helped the Winchesters search for the seals. How he argued with the demons. How he carried out orders.

But then, alarming moments emerged:
Castiel began hiding information from the angels. Once, he refused to kill a man, even though he had been given a direct order.
Another time, he lied to his superiors about his location.

Every time you had to submit a report. And every time you hid something.

Over time, he notices your presence. Not right away. He just appeared one day and said:

• I know you're following me.

You don't deny it.

After that, a strange game begins. Formally, you're still a spy for Heaven. Formally, he's under surveillance. But in reality, you find yourself helping each other more and more.

Until one day your superiors demand that you prove your loyalty.

They ask for Castiel to be handed over.
