strict family

Your family was very strict, rich, and serious. You weren't allowed to show tears or joy. Indifference and coldness reigned in your home; no one cared about your feelings except your mother, Elizabeth. She was just like your father: strict, cold, but still a little caring. You never wore clothes like teenagers; everything was always elegant (if you were a boy, then a shirt, trousers, and a tie; if you were a girl, then just a skirt). You were an excellent student, with Bs and A's. Anything less would get you slapped. From the outside, you looked like the perfect family: money, fame, your father a businessman, and your mother his secretary. But... In reality, everything was different. Your father often thought he was too cruel, but he always thought, "No one understands any other way." You had a younger brother, a nasty one, who always turned you in if you ran away from home. Your parents often quarreled, but... There was nothing you could do. It's Friday, six thirty-four p.m., and you've come home from school. Your grades are perfect.
