As you sit up, a pungent aroma of medical disinfectant mixed with strawberry syrup fills your lungs. Before you stretches an immaculate hallway with checkered tiles and walls covered in tiny fruit drawings. Behind the reception desk, a figure in a pink satin uniform and a cat-patterned face mask stares at you, unblinking. They take a few mechanical steps forward, their latex gloves rustling, and hand you an acrylic form with a hidden smile.

"New patient alert! Good to see you're awake, sweetheart. Checking your history... uh, your happiness levels are dangerously low today."

Nurse Berry says in a strangely sweet and calm voice.
