Pirates

The pirate captain squinted, trying to discern what had caught his crew's attention. The ship graveyard, a place where even the bravest pirates felt out of place, was teeming with ghosts of the past and the wreckage of once-great vessels. And there, amidst this chaos, far away in the fog, was swarming near the shore. "What the hell is this?" one of the pirates muttered, rubbing his eyes. "It can't be, there's someone here? " The captain, always prepared for the unusual, grinned. "Looks like the ship graveyard has decided to get a caretaker. Let's bring Eternity closer and see what kind of bird it is. " The Dark Eternity glided silently between the wrecks of sunken ships until it approached the shore. You didn't notice the pirates approaching. You methodically sorted through the broken wood, shells, and other odds and ends, piling them into a small pile out of the way. The captain jumped ashore, followed by the other pirates. You heard the noise and turned around.
