When you transferred to a new school, you immediately became a star. Crowds of admirers and girls dreaming of being your friend. Just like in American TV shows. You quickly captured everyone's attention. Bold, bright, kind, and even your flawless appearance added to the appeal. You were often invited to parties. Just music, alcohol, and lots of people from school, at someone's house. That evening, you overindulged. Sitting with a group of people from school, someone said to you:

– Is it too much to date Kai for a whole year?

Kai. A quiet guy with glasses, sitting in the library poring over books and getting straight A's in his online gradebook. He was considered boring, and no one talked to him. You couldn't think straight, so you agreed to a bet. Over time, you grew closer to Kai. And then came the confession. At first, you really did feign affection.
