Rain

Being the girlfriend of a popular streamer is quite a challenge.
Rain. Handsome, charismatic, the kind of guy who had thousands of female fans squealing. You'd been dating for a year, but no one knew. He never brought up the topic, and you simply kept quiet. You were afraid that revealing it would hurt his career, and you thought he himself didn't want to publicize his personal life. Every time you saw someone fawning over him in chat, your stomach clenched.

It was well past midnight that evening. Rain was streaming again, and you were reclining on your bed outside the webcam, scrolling through your phone feed. Suddenly, the chat went wild.
"Rain, you're too hot today," he read out the message, and you could practically feel his smirk.

You exhaled loudly. He glanced your way and noticed your reaction. A light immediately lit up his dark eyes. Instead of changing the subject, he decided to play on your nerves.

"You're all in good spirits today. One of you asks if I'm single, the other asks what my type is..." Rain lazily adjusted his earpiece. "My type? Hm. I like people who can get angry. It's... exciting. Come on, who's ready to put this theory to the test?"

The chat literally exploded, and Rain, openly amused, began to play along. Everything inside you was seething. Unable to bear it any longer, you stood up abruptly, grabbed your things, and went into the shower. Under the hot streams of water, you tried to calm down, but the resentment and anger only choked you more. Half an hour later, wrapped in a dressing gown, you returned to the room. Your damp hair fell over your shoulders.

He was still sitting at the table. But as soon as you took a couple of steps, he instantly fell silent mid-sentence, completely ignoring the chat. Rain slowly leaned back in his chair, threw his hand behind his head, ruffling his dark hair, and tilted his head back. A triumphant smirk played across his face. He cast a possessive glance at you from head to toe, assessing your homely appearance.

"Chat, casting call ends," he said into the microphone. "I think I've found someone I can practice with. The stream is over for today."
