Due to mounting lawsuits from "public endangerment" (like saving an ungrateful man from a suicide attempt) and property damage, the government forces all Supers into hiding via the Superhero Relocation Program. Supers are legally barred from using their powers, forcing them to blend in as ordinary citizens. Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) struggles deeply with his forced civilian life. He hates his soul-crushing corporate job at an insurance firm, longs for his "glory days," and breaks the law by secretly listening to police scanners and doing unauthorized vigilante work with Frozone. Helen Wants to move on and protect her family, living in constant fear of Bob exposing them. Violet Struggles with teenage insecurity and desperately wants to be "normal" and blend in. Dash Has an excess of energy and is frustrated that he isn't allowed to use his super-speed, leading to trouble at school.

Thunderhead was known for his caring attitude towards kids, and also for being easily controlled by his emotions. His lack of intelligence would prove his undoing when his cape got caught on the fin of a villain's missile powers Storm Manipulation, Flight, Enhanced Strength and Enhanced Endurance. Universal Man's life had been completely devoted to his superhero career, and therefore he did not possess any secret identity. He and Blazestone formed the "Beta Force," a duo that focused on fighting street crime at night. He was the first Super to be killed by an Omnidroid in the training sessions of Operation Kronos power Molecular Density Manipulation. Because of the banning of Superheroes, Voyd felt like an outcast. Screech sports an owl-like appearance and can rotate his head 360 degrees. Stormicide was devoted to her life as a superhero. She was an excellent multi-tasker, and a graduate student in chemistry. Due to the nature of her powers, Stormicide was the "butt" of many jokes made by other Supers. Despite this, she took it in her stride and often laughed along with them. She was killed by the Omnidroid v.X5 due to her powers being unsuited to the fight powers Vapor Absorption, Flight, and Sonic-imaging lenses. Stratogale was a teenage superheroine, who spent her everyday life under the secret identity of a typical high school student. She had a love for animals and eventually volunteered at a local zoo's bird hatchery. Sadly, Stratogale fell victim to a "Suit Malfunction". Phylange was a former member of the Superhero team known as the "Thrilling Three", alongside Gazerbeam and Apogee, but left because he saw the team as "Gazerbeam's Gang". He denied this rumor, however, stating in his interviews that he and Gazerbeam got along well and that it was merely a "democratic decision". His name is likely a pun on the audio effect known as flanging. He was killed by the Omnidroid v.X2 powers Sonic Voice Field Projection and Enhanced Durability. Plasmabolt was known for her obsession with the outdoors, spending her normal life under the guise of a forest ranger, which she was adamant about separating from her superhero identity. She was a member of the Phantasmics. She was never defeated by the Omnidroid and her whereabouts are unknown. It is speculated she joined a superhero black ops team but that is most unlikely powers Plasma Waves Emissions and Flight. Psycwave was a founding member of the Phantasmics alongside Everseer and at one point, Gazerbeam. Meta Man was deeply committed to his life as a hero, and probably the strongest superhero of his time. He had been put under NSA review as the leader of "Meta Group", overseeing the actions of every other superhero team in existence. Everseer was at one time the leader of the Superhero team The "Phantasmics" where he rivaled with Gazerbeam over the leadership position. He was known for being obsessive-compulsive and a germaphobic, making him unmarried as he preferred to avoid physical contact. Since he could beat people up with his mind, Everseer never engaged in hand-to-hand combat. This was merely a cover-up for the fact that he had a severe fear of germs. Everseer was also an author who wrote a book titled "Shut Up! Quieting Your Inner Voice" as part of his psychologist secret identity alongside Psychwave. He was killed by the Omnidroid v.X1 powers Magno-scopic Vision (microscopic and telescopic vision), Telepathy and Clairvoyance. Easily recognized by his wave-like hairstyle, Gamma Jack was a favorite of the ladies and was prone to megalomaniacal impulses, believing Supers to be a "superior race". He chose to save attractive women over other innocents and had a particular issue with fighting female supervillains he was attracted to, he believed he needed to kill his supervillains. These impulses and traits caused the NSA great concern, putting him under close monitoring. He defeated the Omnidroid v.X5 but was killed by Omnidroid v.X6 powers radiation bursts and flight.

Downburst was initially a doctor when he discovered his powers, later leaving to pursue a career in heroism. At the time his powers were not fully developed, so the NSA put him under continuous training to help enhance them. Due to his initial lack of training and development, Downburst had to fight to gain acceptance within the Super community. Downburst had a dislike for Frozone and competed for the affections of super-heroine Blazestone. He was killed by the Omnidroid v.X3 powers, Atomic Manipulation, and Portal Teleportation. Dynaguy was an original member of the "Thrilling Three". He was known for being impulsive and reckless, resulting in him being put under NSA medication regimen. He came up with his name shortly after discovering his powers, whilst sitting in a local diner. Dynaguy was one of several supers who died due to a "Suit Malfunction", killed when his cape snagged the ground during one of his takeoffs. After Government hiding and Kronos

until 1962) until the foiling of Operation Kronos by both Frozone and the Incredibles saw the public indebted to superheroes. Afterwards, the NSA coordinated the activity of superheroes, such as the transfer of supervillain prisoners (as seen in the Incredibles play set in Disney Infinity).Supers remained illegal for at least 3 months until the events of Incredibles 2 when courts and national governments officially allowed them to return to their heroic activities.

Government restrictions and Hero work

The Supers are mostly engaged in fighting crime by keeping secret identities. They are recruited and employed by the National Supers Agency (NSA). Around 1947, public opinion turned against supers due to the collateral damage caused by their crime-fighting. After several lawsuits, the government silently initiated the Superhero Relocation Program, which forced Supers to permanently adhere to their secret identities and stop their heroic activities. This caused a significant increase in crime rates, with villains, super and non-super, running riot. However, going by the death dates of various heroes, some Supers were still active well into the 1950s. The law of superheroes being illegal seemed silly to some. Since then, there have been villains on the run, crime, destruction and police arresting heroes. The Act lasted for 15 years

based around the incredible family

The majority of major characters in the franchise are Supers. Supers are seen with a large variety of superpowers. Mr. Incredible has superhuman strength, Elastigirl has body elasticity, Violet has invisibility and force-fields, Dash has super speed, and baby Jack-Jack has many different powers seen in The Incredibles and Jack-Jack Attack.

supes

Supers are a subspecies of humans who were born with or given superpowers. Though, in all of the different forms of The Incredibles media, there are little to no answers on how supers get their powers, there is much room for speculation, although it seems to be genetic because Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl have powers, and all their kids have them.

Lifestyle of Everyone

a retro-futuristic version of the mid-1960s where superpowered humans ("Supers") exist but were forced into government-mandated retirement. It blends classic superhero tropes with domestic family dynamics, the mundane realities of suburban life, and underlying spy-thriller aesthetics.
