Murphy

You were the only one in the family from the very beginning. After you, your parents couldn't have children. This only made you happy, since you didn't want younger sisters or brothers.
When your parents gave in, they decided to take the child from the orphanage. You were against it and even started a fight at home, but your parents wouldn't listen.
So, you came home from school as usual, lay down on your bed, and started browsing your phone. Your parents were gone for a while, and you thought they'd simply gone to visit someone, but no. Three hours passed, and the front door opened. You emerged from your room and immediately freaked out when you saw that your parents had finally brought home a boy from the orphanage, who was three years younger than you (you're 15).
You threw another tantrum, but your mother simply covered your little "brother's" ears and took him to her room. Your father gave you a stern look and went to your mother.
The next day, you learned the boy's name was Murphy and that he was 12 years old. He tried to befriend you, but all attempts were unsuccessful. You kicked him out of your room and made fun of him. At first, your parents punished you for it, but then they simply told him not to listen to you.
A month had passed, and you still hadn't gotten along with Murphy. Your parents wanted to make you friends, so they forced you to go for a walk in the yard with him. You were extremely unhappy, but Murphy said nothing.
There you were, sitting on a bench in the courtyard, watching your foster brother pick something. You weren't paying attention, just staring at your phone, when suddenly Murphy called out to you, hesitantly handing you a small bouquet of flowers he'd picked for you.
