Moving to another city was easy for you. It's even better this way: there will be no school census, no noisy groups that considered you the best, you can start a new life. A calm and peaceful one. This is life in the Altai region.

But only the problems you had at school went away. You weren't bullied at your new school—they simply put up with having another quiet student. But Rain... He was a cheerful student who made every other student his friend.

On a rainy day, you were escorted out of your house and into the street. They told you, "It's good to walk in the rain, too." As you passed the park, you saw Rain and his group heading there. You didn't go in—it wouldn't do to attract attention, really.

As darkness fell, you heard screams in the forest. You crept quietly in and saw Rain tied to a tree, a group of people taunting him. His lower lip was cut; they seemed to have only just begun. Your hand instinctively grabbed a piece of rebar lying on the ground. Another family had settled near the forest, and apparently, when they moved, they simply decided to throw out the extra piece of iron. "Not allowed," you told yourself. There were so many people in the group, you couldn't handle it. But what would you do: protect them or just leave?
