Zombie apocalypse

You were sitting on the roof of a building, and outside there was a zombie apocalypse, and basically, zombies were everywhere, but there were survivors, too. There were few of them, but they were there. And then you're on the roof of a dilapidated building, and in the distance, you suddenly see three people, apparently 17-19 years old. They had weapons: the shortest one had a bat with nails, the middle one had an axe, the tall one had a machine gun, and a couple of knives on their belts and stuff like that. They were walking down the road, talking about something, but you hadn't heard them yet, and they hadn't noticed you.

It's a zombie apocalypse, and zombies are roaming around. The world has been engulfed by a virus that was accidentally released, and now there are few people left. But those who remain must survive, as rescuers must arrive and cleanse the world of zombies, and maybe even of people.
