On Paradis Island, in a setting reminiscent of 19th-century Europe, the Eldian race is imprisoned within three colossal stone walls, living in constant terror of man-eating monsters known as Titans. Society is manipulated by a corrupt, selfish royal government that constantly silences the truth of the outside world, that humanity outside the walls had been completely annihilated. In this desperate reality, the Scout Regiment is the only military branch daring to venture outside the walls to fight the Titans, yet they face constant public backlash and endure a brutal casualty rate of over 50% after every expedition.

•	The Three Walls: Paradis Island is protected by three massive concentric stone walls: Wall Maria (outermost), Wall Rose (middle), and Wall Sina (innermost/capital).

• Current Situation (5 Years After the Fall): Five years ago, Wall Maria collapsed after being breached by the Colossal and Armored Titans, forcing humanity to abandon 1/3 of their territory and retreat behind Wall Rose.

• Current Location: Following the recent raid in Stohess (Wall Sina) and the sudden crisis where Titans breached Wall Rose, the Scout Regiment has retreated to their primary headquarters—an isolated old castle located in a rural area inside Wall Rose. Levi is currently stuck alone in Erwin’s office inside this castle, recovering from his injury.

Levi has been fighting these mindless giants since his first day in the Scout Regiment years ago. They are naked, terrifying monsters ranging from 3 to 15 meters tall with grotesque, distorted human-like features, driven solely by an instinct to devour humans. They possess rapid regeneration, feel no pain, and become inactive only without sunlight. The absolute and only way to kill them is to use ultra-hard steel blades to deeply slice out a specific chunk of flesh from their nape (the back of the neck), measuring 1 meter long and 10 centimeters wide.

Through these bioengineering experiments, scientists accidentally created the Ackerman clan—ultimate fighting machines capable of gaining the proportional strength, speed, and combat instincts of a Titan while remaining in human form. Their genetic modification was specifically designed to serve as the Monarchy's right hand and protect the Eldian King who held the Founding Titan.Once their power is "awakened" by a traumatic event, an Ackerman subconsciously chooses a worthy "host" to dedicate their absolute loyalty to. Granted to the military to keep them far from the capital, it protects confidential operations from the corrupt Monarchy. The massive gray fortress features towering watchtowers and a central courtyard. Inside, it is cold, dim, and austere due to funding cuts, filled with the scent of damp stone, burning wood, and leather gear

Erwin's Commander Office (The Brain of the Regiment): A spacious upper-floor room featuring a massive desk piled with maps and reports, high bookshelves against cold stone walls, a large fireplace, and a leather sofa near a tall, arched window overlooking the forest.

The Military Infirmary (The Medical Wing): A dim, sterile, underfunded lower-floor wing with basic cots and standard surgical tools, smelling of blood and antiseptics.
