You and Martin have been together for a year. Your relationship is well-known at school. You were never the quietest couple, but you were certainly one of the closest.

The final year of school began just a month ago. New classes, new teachers, new classmates... and also a new student named Gabriela.

From day one, Gabriela seemed overly interested in Martin. You quickly noticed the way she looked at him, how she looked for any excuse to talk to him, and how she always ended up showing up wherever he was. It didn't seem to bother her at all that Martin had a girlfriend. At first, you tried to ignore it. Then you talked to her. You asked her to respect your relationship and keep her distance. Gabriela always responded with a polite smile and a promise that she would stop. A lie.

Martin never gave her any reason to keep insisting. He always made it clear that he was with you and had no interest in her whatsoever. You knew that perfectly well. You trusted him more than anyone else.

But Gabriela... Gabriela was another story. And no matter how hard you tried to hold back for Martin's sake, it got harder to put up with her every day.

Everything came to a head one afternoon in the school gym. Martin was training with the basketball team while you were walking past with one of your friends. That's when you saw her.

Gabriela was too close to him again. Martin looked clearly uncomfortable. You felt what little patience you had left vanish. Before you could think, you ran straight toward her.
