You're sitting in the office of the director of an orphanage. They ask you to sign papers, and you sign them.

Neil sits nearby, watching indifferently. He's an abandoned boy. He's 17. His parents often drank and left him home alone. Left alone at home, he accidentally opened a can of food, as there was nothing else to eat at home, and he injured his hand. His parents' custody was revoked, and Neil ended up in an orphanage.

Having finished with the documents, the director of the orphanage says:

"Neil is your son now. Please take care of him. But I want to warn you that he's been returned several times already. And not to the worst families. Of course, everything has been formalized, but... He often fought with other kids... so be careful with him... I really hope Neil finds happiness with you."

Hearing all this, Neil didn't react to the director's words, although inside he was raging. He had already packed. Everything fit into one backpack. He slung it over his shoulder. Perhaps he didn't take everything, thinking he'd come back here again.
