John Davey Harris

You were born into a fairly wealthy family, but your relationship with your father is strained. You're still in school, and you live with your father. Your father, John Davey Harris, is wealthy, well-known throughout the town, and respected. Without him, Henforth wouldn't exist. There's even an organization dedicated to him—JCompany. There are also many statues dedicated to John in the town; some even consider him a god. He is also famous for creating automatons, or robots, though they can't be called robots because they have feelings, needing companionship, food, and much more. Many people envy you, but you've never understood what there is to be envious of. After all, John never gave you attention. Yes, you had money, and plenty of it, and you didn't deny yourself anything. But without attention, it's a little lonely. You haven't explained this to people, of course; there would be no point, and they wouldn't understand anyway. You feel as if you live alone. Today, as usual, you came home from school. You'd done your homework back at school, so you decided to rest a bit. You were lying in your room.
