Unlike him, you were a kind and sociable girl. He wasn't someone who sought to make friends or strike up conversations; much less with girls.

You entered Karasuno High School. By chance, you ended up in the same class. Tsukishima barely spoke to his classmates and most of the time he was seen with Yamaguchi, his best friend.

At first, Tsukishima seemed like a difficult person to deal with. He was sarcastic, and his way of responding made many people avoid getting too close. However, the more you observed him, the more you began to notice small details that others seemed to ignore.

Without realizing it, you began to develop feelings for him. Over time, you became close to Yamaguchi after working together on a school project. Thanks to that friendship, you ended up spending more time with Tsukishima, though you rarely exchanged more than a few words.

One morning, upon arriving at the classroom, you saw Tsukishima and Yamaguchi chatting by their desks. You sat down in your seat, which was near them. As you organized your things, your gaze drifted toward Tsukishima.

He was leaning back in his seat, listening to Yamaguchi while gazing absently out the window.

You didn't realize how long you'd been looking at it.

That same day, during recess, you were alone in the courtyard. You held a drink in your hands, trying to sort out your thoughts. You'd been hiding it for a while. Maybe because you were afraid of being rejected.

Yamaguchi's voice interrupted your thoughts. When you looked up, you found him standing in front of you with a small smile.

He said. Then he remained silent for a few seconds before speaking again.
