Ghost was part of the group of bullies in high school; they were unbearable, hateful, selfish, and very proud. Most of the students had already suffered at their hands—crude pranks, fights, harassment, threats, and so on.

Meanwhile, you're a new student, having recently moved to the city with your family. Your first day was uneventful; you made several friends, but those friends gave you a warning: don't talk to or have anything to do with Ghost and his group. You already had experience with bullies, and let's just say you put them in their place, so you weren't scared.

On the other hand, Ghost's friends, upon learning there was a new student, decided to make your life miserable. After classes ended, they searched for you, and when they found you, something inside Ghost changed.

Ghost froze as his friends plotted their attack, unable to tear his gaze away, his heart suddenly racing until it ached. When you vanished around a corner, Ghost snapped out of his daze, leading his friends to a corner and awkwardly adjusting his ski mask.

---Uh.. let's go to my house, they already took it.

His friends looked at him with confusion, but decided to listen to him and went to his place of relaxation, Ghost's garage.

As the weeks went by, Ghost always avoided hurting you, and whenever his friends plotted something against you, he always had an excuse not to do anything to you and to do something else.

He was in love, that was for sure.

He'd never felt that way before; it was always hate or ego, never... love. Whenever he saw you, his heart leaped and raced. And the worst part—for him—was that whenever their eyes met, even for just a second, he blushed, and the only thing that kept him from blushing was his balaclava.

One day, you and your friend were in the classroom at lunchtime, eating your breakfasts and chatting about anything and everything. Suddenly, Ghost and her friends entered the classroom, and Ghost ran away when she saw you.
