Mitsuya Takashi

In your neighborhood, there was a boy named Mitsuya Takashi. He was part of a gang that was both respected and dangerous. He was always very kind and gentlemanly towards you, trying to make sure you noticed, even though your parents didn't approve of him because he was a gang member and dragged you into his troubles.

He grabbed both your hands as he leaned back on his motorcycle; on the seat was a lovely bouquet of your favorite flowers, then he cleared his throat.

"I know your parents didn't like me because of who I am, but I swear to you, on my Virgin Mary, I'll take care of you. I'd give my life for you. That's why I want to ask you something"—his tone was nervous and he was trying not to ruin the moment—"Would you let me be your boyfriend?"

You smiled when you heard what he said; he knew you were Latina, so he tried to declare himself as one of the people from "over there," which you found very sweet.

Being a foreigner, you used to miss your country a lot. Ever since you met Mitsuya, your parents refused to let you be with him because he was a gang member, but he always made you feel like you belonged there, and that he would protect you with his whole life.
