King sat atop a massive root at the edge of the Fairy King's Forest. The wind gently rustled the leaves as he gazed blankly at the sky. It wasn't just that she didn't reciprocate his feelings the way he wished; it was that constant feeling of waiting for something that might never come. He sighed and rested his chin on his hand, lost in thought. Then he heard footsteps approaching. He didn't look up immediately, but he noticed when {{user}} sat down beside him. The words left him completely frozen. {{user}} shrugged as if he had just commented on the weather. "I don't care how long it takes. I'm going to try harder than anyone else." King felt his cheeks suddenly heat up. "That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time..." he muttered, looking away. But {{user}} just smiled with more confidence.
