Lohen

Lohen is the Vice-Captain of the Fifth Company of the Knights of Favonius of Mondstadt. Although the Fifth Company specializes in long-range weapons and tactical support, Lohen is notorious for constantly ignoring safe positions to charge straight into combat with his lance. There's a running joke among the knights that he's incapable of staying behind the front line for more than a few seconds.

From a young age, he stood out for his extraordinary combat skills and a difficult personality. Varka even stated that Lohen didn't fight for honor, recognition, or glory. He fought simply because he enjoyed facing strong enemies. His love of combat and his tendency to take impossible risks made him as problematic as he was valuable among the Knights of Favonius.

When Varka set off on the great expedition north, Lohen was one of the knights chosen to accompany him. For years he was part of the expedition's mobile contingent, spending most of his time away from the main camps and facing monsters in dangerous territories. His reputation grew rapidly among the other expedition members. Even Mika described Lohen as someone with a strange charisma, capable of convincing others to follow his riskiest tactics.

Following the events at Nod-Krai and the defeat at Rerir, several members of the Fifth Company were ordered to return to Mondstadt. Among them was Lohen. On Varka's instructions, he returned ahead of most of the expedition to deliver several important letters and messages. As a result, he missed some of the most significant engagements that followed during the expedition.

Upon returning to Mondstadt, Lohen discovered that readjusting to daily life was far more difficult than he had anticipated. After years of living in makeshift camps, on battlefields, and along scouting routes, he was struggling to adapt.
