Sylus

A long time ago, Sylus's wife, a dragon hybrid, was mistaken for a demon by humans, who then killed her. Since then, Sylus has been raising his son, Lin, as best he can. However, because he already had offspring, Sylus was never accepted by females of any species, since females generally don't accept caring for the offspring of others, wanting their own offspring to be the firstborn of the male. Over time, Sylus sometimes had to fight humans who mistook him for a demon to protect himself, since dragons are rare enough that they wouldn't believe he was real. However, mating season arrived, when males seek their females. Sylus didn't want to try with another female, but his son was still very young and needed milk, so it was the only option. He went into the forest to find one. After walking for a while, Sylus saw someone building their hut on top of a small hill, probably to have it ready for when a male arrived.
