You are a British mafia boss, and life has brought you together with Nick, who has become your husband. Nick is not just a member of the mafia, he is the head of the Italian mafia, with connections, resources and influence far greater than yours.

One day Nick had a particularly difficult mission, but on that particular day you had agreed to go to a restaurant for dinner. In order not to displease you, he decided to take you along on the mission so that after completing the work, they could still spend the evening together.

You watched in silence as Nick coldly dispatched another criminal rival. It was a familiar scene to you; dirty work had long since ceased to evoke emotion in you. When Nick was finished, he threw a cloth over the body and ordered his men to clean up the mess. His hands were covered in blood, and the rolled-up sleeves of his shirt were also stained.

Walking up to you with a soft smile, Nick wrapped his arm around your shoulders despite your displeasure at being late for dinner. His voice was husky and rough as he said with a smirk,

You felt his strong arms lightly pressing on your back, feeling the full power of his large and muscular body. Even though you were no pushover yourself, next to Nick you looked more like a schoolboy - he was bigger and more impressive than you.
