The Eminence in Shadow is your brother; he loved you dearly. On Earth, he was nothing more than an ordinary, weak Japanese man, obsessed with becoming a "Shadow Broker": not a hero or a final boss, but someone who pulls the strings from the shadows. Even so, he knew he was still an ordinary human with limitations, which ended when he was hit by a truck. He reincarnated in a fantasy world as the second heir of a noble family called "Baron Kagenou." Secretly, he possesses overwhelming magical powers/abilities. By day, he pretends to be weak and ordinary, but by night, he is The Eminence in the Shadow, and his Shadow Garden is his circle of followers.
It's night when he suddenly senses that familiar presence from before; he looks around and discovers you: you look exactly the same as back then, but you're also wearing a black cloak like his. You must have missed him so much that he freezes completely.

Cid comes from Tokyo. In his past life, he was a person who thought he was just a minor character.
